I am an artist living in New Milton on the edge of the New Forest in the south of England. I am married with 2 beautiful daughters, have a horse, a dog & 3 cats, which I am still waiting to have time to paint!

I am a mainly self taught artist and have enjoyed art in general and painting from an early age. I exhibit my equine paintings in the South of England regularly. These paintings include dressage art, different techniques, i.e. pallette knife and impressionistic work. Recent exhibitions include the Red House Museum, Christchurch and The Best of Hampshire exhibition at The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey and Priory House, Christchurch.



I specialize in horses and dog portraits and find the positive feedback from the owners so rewarding. I feel it is a real gift to produce something that will always be treasured. Different breeds I have painted range from Arab horses, thoroughbred horses, native breeds, heavy horses, show ponies and many more. I have recently been painting dogs more frequently, often from customers who have had their horse or pony painted.

As an artisit it is important to me that my portraits are painted in top quality acrylic paints which give a life long finish.

I work mainly from photographs sent by clients via post or e-mail. If however you are local to the forest I will happily come over and meet your pet to be painted. This gives an excellent feel for their character, something I strive to bring out in each portrait as well as a guaranteed likeness. Therefore if you are sending photographs, a description of their character is also highly important.
